About the role
Work in this large primary care clinic as a Nurse Practitioner delivering a gold standard of care to patients. You will be working in a large team of 2 Nurse Practitioners, 14 Registered Nurses and 15 GPs. You will also be responsible for on-call in Aged Care facilities as well.

Ability to work autonomously while also being a part of the team
What you have to do Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, diagnose illnesses, and formulate treatment plans
Prescribe medications, facilitate treatment and interpret diagnostic tests
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care
Provide patient education and counselling to promote health and prevent disease
Participate in research, quality improvement initiatives, and professional development activities
Act as a leader and mentor to nursing staff, fostering a positive work environment.
Skills and Experience Registered Nurse Practitioner with current APC
Proven experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a primary or acute care setting
Proficient clinical skills, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine passion for patient care
Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively
Dedication to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with industry best practices
