Nurse Practitioner (Primary Care Liaison) at Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand Te Toka Tumai Auckland, AucklandSeeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our Primary Liaison Team working across the Auckland City region.We are looking for a dynamic clinician who has experience in adult community mental health.Permanent, Full-time role (40 hours per week), Monday to Friday.Te whiwhinga mahi | The OpportunityPrimary Care Liaison is a team of mental health specialists providing care at the interface of primary and secondary to the population of Auckland City. As Nurse Practitioner, you will work as an expert clinician in Mental Health Nursing. Your primary focus will be to undertake assessments and brief clinical interventions, and you will provide clinical and professional leadership.We are looking for a dynamic clinician who has experience in adult community work, is able to provide comprehensive mental health assessments, deliver effective evidence-based treatment strategies, and work collaboratively with other team members, primary care providers, and other services.Nga Pukenga Motuhake | Important SkillsYou will be committed to the philosophy and concepts of Mental Health Nursing care.Essential requirements for this role are:• At least five years experience in Mental Health Nursing• Endorsement by the Nursing Council of NZ to practice as a Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.• Alignment with the values of Health New Zealand• About to complete Mental Health Nurse Practitioner training or currently qualifiedFor more information about this role please contact Dawn Bannister via ****** are Te Whatu Ora Te Toka Tumai Auckland.
