Nurse Practitioner (Primary Care Liaison)

Seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our Primary Liaison Team working across the Auckland City region. We are looking for a dynamic clinician who has experience in adult community mental health. Permanent, Full-time role (40 hours per week), Monday to Friday. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will work as an expert clinician in Mental Health Nursing. Your primary focus will be to undertake assessments and brief clinical interventions. You will provide clinical and professional leadership. We are looking for a dynamic clinician who has experience in adult community work, is able to provide comprehensive mental health assessments, deliver effective evidence-based treatment strategies, and work collaboratively with other team members, primary care providers, and other services.

Important Skills: You will be committed to the philosophy and concepts of Mental Health Nursing care.

Essential requirements for this role are: At least five years of experience in Mental Health Nursing. Endorsement by the Nursing Council of NZ to practice as a Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Alignment with the values of Health New Zealand. About to complete Mental Health Nurse Practitioner training or currently qualified.
