Nurse Practitioner Neonatal (SCBU) North Shore Hospital

The Special Care Baby Unit at North Shore Hospital is an innovative service at the forefront of neonatal care. To enhance the depth of this service, meet current demand and prepare for future neonatal growth, we are thrilled to present an exciting opportunity to elevate our service delivery by introducing a Nurse Practitioner into our team.

As a Nurse Practitioner, you will play a vital role in SCBU, working both independently and in collaboration with other healthcare professionals to promote health, prevent disease, and to diagnose, assess and manage the health needs of neonates and their whanau.

Ensuring the delivery of high-quality, high-value clinical care is paramount, as well as utilising your advanced skills and knowledge to provide invaluable team support and demonstrate neonatal leadership.

If you share these values, you will fit right in. To be considered for this role, you will have the following qualifications:

Registered Nurse (RGON, RCpN, RPN, BHSc) with current New Zealand annual practicing certificate Masters in Nursing with advanced assessment diagnostic reasoning skills papers including prescribing practicum Nurse Practitioner as approved by the Nursing Council of New Zealand If you are a passionate and driven Nurse Practitioner ready to make a difference in neonatal care, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
