Only for registered membersLocation: Wairarapa HospitalService: Acute ServicesSalary: NZD 60,000 - 80,000Reference: 6701900An exciting opportunity for an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join the Wairarapa Emergency Department Team.
In this role, you will provide advanced clinical expertise and leadership to enhance patient treatment and care planning for patients within the Emergency Department.
This is provided within an interdisciplinary model that best meets patient requirements and aligns with the vision and values of Wairarapa District.Our Emergency Nurse Practitioner team practices independently and collaboratively to utilize advanced health assessment, diagnosis, and treatment implementation in both adult and pediatric patients to reduce waiting times, decrease ED length of stay, and increase patient satisfaction for individuals presenting to the Emergency Department.The role also provides clinical expertise and leadership to optimize patient outcomes and develop effective models of care in the department through quality initiatives, teaching, and mentoring.Minimum RequirementsNew Zealand Registered Nurse Practitioner qualification including Registration & current Annual Practising Certificate.Recent clinical experience in an emergency care setting.Current knowledge about issues within nursing and acute care nursing.Sound knowledge and understanding of medico/legal and ethical responsibilities.Here at Wairarapa District, we embrace diversity and welcome applications from all people, including all gender identities, ages, ethnicities, sexual orientations, disabilities, and religions.
