The Nurse Leader Workforce Development and Learning is a key member of the Senior Nursing Leadership team, providing expert advice and support to the organisation. With a strong focus on Nursing workforce transformation in alignment with National and Regional strategic priorities, this role is essential in shaping the Nursing team across Hospital and Specialist Services in the Bay of Plenty.
As a part of the Toi Ora Nursing leadership group, this role will embed Te Tiriti o Waitangi into systems and solutions across the Nursing Workforce portfolio and support the growth and development of Nursing.
The Nurse Leader Workforce Development and Learning will lead and direct the Practice Development Group across the organisation. We are offering a permanent full-time role working 1.0 FTE (40 hours per week).

This position suits an experienced nursing workforce leader who both fosters and demonstrates collaboration, courage and innovation in pursuit of Pae Ora transformation. You will actively contribute to and support the development of a Toi Ora competent nursing workforce for Te Hauora a Toi – Bay of Plenty and will require experience in the application of Te Tiriti o Waitangi into health systems and processes.
