Reporting to the Associate Nursing Director, Primary Health Care and working alongside other dedicated team members, the Nurse Educator will work across the Waitemata and Te Toka Tumai districts, as well as the Northern region for some workforce development programmes.
This role will see you engaging with a range of primary health care providers such as Primary Health Organisations, general practices, aged residential care, and school nurses, to coordinate and deliver high-quality programmes of education and learning.
Your key areas of responsibility will be the Nurse Entry to Practice programme for new graduates in the Primary Health Care setting, alongside contributing to other workforce programmes including the Registered Nurse Prescribing in Community Health.
In addition to this, you will work alongside other members of the Primary Health Care Nursing Team and nurse leaders in the districts to build the capability of the primary health care nursing workforce.
