We are excited to announce a newly created position for a Nuclear Medicine and PET Team Lead across our SRG and Astra teams, offering a unique opportunity to step into a management role and make a significant impact on our team and patients.
Key Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Nuclear Medicine Technologist, looking to make their next career move into team leadership. This is an exciting newly created opportunity to take on a leadership role, overseeing the daily operations of our nuclear medicine and PET department and ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety. This role will be supported by our Modality Manager for Nuclear Medicine and will oversee 2 PET devices and 2 Nuclear Medicine devices across 4 Auckland sites. Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the nuclear medicine/PET team, providing guidance, support, and mentorship.
Oversee the scheduling and coordination of nuclear medicine and PET procedures.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards.
Collaborate with other departments to optimize patient care and workflow.
Participate in the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures.
Maintain and troubleshoot nuclear medicine equipment.
Conduct regular team meetings and performance evaluations.
Stay current with advancements in nuclear medicine technology and practices.
Qualifications:
Degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology.
Certification by the MRTB in Nuclear Medicine Scope.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in nuclear medicine.
Strong knowledge of nuclear medicine and PET procedures, equipment, and safety protocols.
Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
