NPD Quality Assurance Specialist Are you passionate about ensuring the quality and consistency of new products? Do you excel in coordinating with various teams to meet quality standards and regulatory requirements? We're seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as an NPD Quality Assurance Specialist. The NPD Quality Assurance Specialist plays a crucial role in overseeing and ensuring the quality and consistency of new products throughout the development process. This role involves coordinating with various departments, including R&D, NPD, Production, and Marketing, as well as external suppliers, to uphold our company's quality standards and regulatory requirements. Some key responsibilities include: Quality Assurance Oversight: Implement and maintain quality assurance protocols throughout the NPD process, ensuring products meet or exceed quality standards and regulatory compliance. Project Coordination: Support Flower launch taskforce with coordination tasks and interface with cross-functional teams to facilitate smooth workflow. Process Coordination: Work closely with R&D, Marketing, Production, and other relevant teams to ensure timely completion of milestones. Testing and Validation: Oversee testing procedures for new products, both in-house and external, to ensure they meet specified criteria and performance standards. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation of the NPD process and prepare regular reports for management. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions while maintaining quality standards. Training and Support: Provide training and guidance to team members on quality standards and procedures. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks in the NPD process and implement corrective actions when quality issues arise. Supplier Quality Management: Collaborate with suppliers to ensure raw materials and components meet quality standards, conducting audits and assessments as required. Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on industry regulations and coordinate with regulatory bodies as needed to ensure compliance. Customer Feedback: Gather customer feedback on new products and collaborate with customer service and marketing teams to make improvements. Our ideal candidate will have the following attributes and skills Bachelor's degree in quality management, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance, preferably in manufacturing or product development. Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and tools. Experience in NPD processes and project management. Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills. Proficiency in data analysis and reporting. Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and standards.
