DISABILITY INFORMATION AND SUPPORT STUDENT SERVICES Disability Information and Support – Te Pokapu Hapai Huka Haua is a student support service at the University of Otago – Otakou Whakaihu Waka.
Our role is to provide learning support, advice, advocacy and information to students who have a disability, impairment, injury or medical condition that affects their study.

The role/Te mahi We are seeking a talented individual to join our close-knit and dynamic team and contribute to the success of students studying at the University of Otago.
As Note-taker Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring students with disabilities are supported to succeed academically.
You will assist with the coordination of the note-taking service, a vital support service for students who experience challenges taking lecture notes due to the nature of their impairment.

Minimum Requirements: To be successful as a Note-taker Coordinator you will also have:
A recognised qualification in Business Administration or equivalent work experience.Experience working in a similar environment or role.Critical thinking and problem-solving skills relevant to the position.The ability to effectively manage multiple deadlines and priorities.Effective communication with excellent interpersonal skills.An empathy with people who have a disability, impairment, medical condition or injury.Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of programmes.This is a fixed term (February – November 2025), full-time (37.5 hours per week) position, located in Dunedin.
The appointment range for this role is $61,360 - $65,879.
Top of the range is $71,150 (pro rata, per annum).
