This role involves leading a team of Account Managers and a sales budget (circa $100M) overseeing a coveted customer base in the dynamic New Zealand manufacturing sector, encompassing areas such as food, beverage, hort/agriculture, meat, and dairy.Ideally, candidates with a background in the manufacturing sector are preferred. The ability to thrive in a 'high-vis' environment is crucial, as is a willingness to engage with customers in diverse settings, from orchards to cool stores to dairy processors. We are seeking a down-to-earth sales leader with a perpetual curiosity and a very close eye on margin-management. Experience and success managing large, complex sales tender processes are crucial.The key to success in this role lies in strategically growing key customer relationships. Achieving success is not about rapid overnight growth, especially in a business of this scale.
