School management and administration is predominantly based in Auckland, with school units in centres throughout the North Island from Kaitaia to Gisborne, Taupo, and Taranaki.We seek a Unit Leader to lead our school unit in Whakatane, guiding a small team of teachers in delivering learner-focused programmes to akonga with chronic health needs.The successful applicant will be an experienced, fully registered teacher with a highly developed knowledge of the school curriculum, including culturally responsive pedagogy. An excellent understanding and practical application of the New Zealand Curriculum is critical for this role. Experience with a broad range of curriculum across levels, including NCEA, will be considered an asset.Recent leadership experience and an ability to support students with Te Ao Maori and Te Reo Maori is an advantage.A full NZ driving licence is essential for this position.Physical Address:Level 1, 60 Khyber Pass Road, Grafton, Auckland
