Northern Health School - Unit Leader - Wilson Unit (Takapuna) Full time, Permanent Secondary (Years 7–15) / wharekura, Certificated teacher Unit Leadership Role - Northern Health School is a Ministry of Education funded school. We provide education and transition support for Y0-14 students whilst ill health prevents them attending their regular school. We seek a Unit Leader to lead our Wilson Centre team based in Takapuna, in delivering learner-focused programmes to akonga with chronic health needs in a specialized rehabilitation setting. The successful applicant will be an experienced, fully registered teacher with a highly developed knowledge of school curriculum and pedagogy. An excellent understanding and practical application of the New Zealand Curriculum is critical for this role. Experience with a broad range of curriculum across levels, including NCEA and Mathematics, will be considered an asset. Recent leadership experience and an ability to support students in te Reo Maori is an advantage. A full NZ driving licence is essential for this position.
