We have an exciting opportunity for a Freight Operator to join our Whangarei team. This role is Monday to Friday and the hours will be from 3:00am – 11:30am.
You will be an important part of our team ensuring the timely, efficient, and safe handling of freight in order for the company to achieve their target delivery goals, on time and damage free.
What you'll do: Load and unload all freight safely and securely. Achieve branch operational objectives by using On-time to scan freight efficiently. Ensure all equipment is operated in a safe and proficient manner. Maintain good working relationships. Communicate effectively within a team environment. What you'll need: A strong health and safety focus. OSH approved forklift certificate. Prior long fork experience. An understanding of dangerous goods laws (preferred but not essential).
