Job Description We currently have an opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented Cleaning Supervisor to lead our Nightshift Cleaning team based at our Horotiu plant near Hamilton. The Nightshift Cleaning Supervisor's primary responsibility is to manage the pre-operation and post-operation cleaning process and ensure all regulatory standards and compliance are maintained, as well as our operations team being able to run efficiently.
The cleaning nightshift is anywhere between 4:00 PM and 06:00 AM, depending on production hours, and will require availability on weekends and public holidays.
Qualifications Key requirements for the Nightshift Cleaning Supervisor include:
The supervision of cleaning staff, including accurate timekeeping and pay records, their health & safety, and ensuring effective work practices.
Consistent monitoring of pre and post-operation cleaning processes to ensure high standards at all times.
Coaching, developing, and mentoring cleaning staff.
Ensuring the site is compliant with the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015.
Effective communication and conflict management skills.
Previous experience in a supervisory/leadership role is preferred. Experience in an industrial working environment would also be an advantage, however, it is not a requirement.
