Job DetailsFull Time opportunitySupportive team environmentImmediate StartWe are seeking a Night Manager to cover a portfolio of our UniLodge properties in Christchurch, New Zealand. You will be responsible for all overnight operations ensuring residents receive a consistently exceptional experience. You shall be performing various administrative and support services and fostering a safe, secure and healthy living environment.
ABOUT THE ROLE: Full time hours - 40 hours per week across Monday to Sunday roster (5 working Days)Manage, record and promptly resolve issues or emergencies that arise while on dutyRepresent as after-hours management, taking full responsibility of the building operationsAct as a "Mentor" to residents and form a friendly and open point of contact for assistance, information and welfareIndependently deal with after-hours check in's & customer service enquiriesMaintaining a full and detailed log of all incidents and call-outs throughout each shiftComplete all back or front-office duties as handed over by day teamPerform perimeter checks, manage in-house quiet hours, attend to emergencies and lockoutsRespond to student incidents over the shiftTo be great in this role you will: Experience in providing hands on operational security and incident management in a residential settingPrevious Front Office experience in a Supervisor or Manager position within a student accommodation or hotel environmentYou love living nocturnally and thrive off working a night-time rosterHighly developed interpersonal skills with the ability to problem-solve and manage conflictA focus on service and quality with the passion to deliver outstanding experiencesPolice Vetting Check (must be willing to obtain)WHY UNILODGE UniLodge specialise in student accommodation and have been an industry market leader since 1996.
