The pay rate is $29.23 per hour with a guaranteed minimum of 32 hours per week.Key Responsibilities:Directing and overseeing reservation, reception, room service and housekeeping activitiesSupervising security arrangements and property maintenanceAttend to any emergency issues including security, maintenance, fire or evacuationPlanning and supervising bar, restaurant, function and conference activitiesObserving liquor laws and regulationsAssessing and reviewing customer satisfactionOverseeing accounting and purchasing activitiesEnsuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulationsMay provide guests with local tourism information, and arrange tours and transportationEnsure a smooth check in and check out process whilst on shift and ensure VIP guests are acknowledged appropriatelyEnsure employee personal presentation is consistent with Sudima brand standardsCommunicate professionally and effectively with all hotel departments, teams, senior leadership and external stakeholdersDrive revenue, budgets and financials through logical, smart decisionsRequirements:NZQF Diploma (ANZSCO Skill Level 2)OR At least three years of relevant experienceYou will need a current General Managers CertificateAbility to remain calm under pressure, willing to go the extra mileOutstanding communication and customer service skills, with good attention to detailConfident, well-motivated, enthusiastic and determinedFlexible and adaptable in approachAbility to prioritize, work to deadlines and remain composed under pressureWork to a high standard, accurate and organizedApproachable and flexible & a team playerCommitted to continuing professional developmentFlexibility to work outside normal hours as required.
