We have an exciting opportunity for a FCL (Full Container Load) Night Dispatcher to join our branch in Auckland.
You will be responsible for coordinating the movement of full container shipments, as well as their scheduling and monitoring.
You will be customer-focused, ensuring that all customer requirements are met, working from 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM, Monday to Friday.
The purpose of this role is to effectively coordinate our FCL deliveries for key customers and our logistics business.
Your strengths will lie within your planning and delivery skills.
You will be organized, provide attention to detail, be flexible, and have the ability to change priorities at short notice.
The role will also require updating relevant IT systems, generating reports, and actioning or allocating work based upon the findings.
In addition, you will be responsible for:
Supporting the FCL operation to coordinate and monitor the PM dispatch of FCL deliveriesEngaging in effective communication with customersManaging scheduling and routing of fleet and driversResolving any internal & external customer issues and increasing satisfaction levelsEnsuring compliance with all health and safety requirementsAdministration and documentation of deliveriesAddressing and solving any issues that arise and implementing corrective actionsOverseeing compliance & fleet presentation requirementsExcellent communication and organizational skillsKnowledge of the Transport/Logistics industryMinimum of 1 year experience in Freight operations or a similar positionSound computer and Microsoft Office skills (Intermediate)Clean Class 1 NZ Driver's LicenseDemonstrable geographical knowledgeOur people and customers are at the heart of everything we do.
