Night Cleaning Team Leader

We are seeking a motivated Team Leader to lead our Industrial Night Cleaners reporting to the Production Coordinator, the Team Leader plays an integral role in maximising efficiencies to achieve lowest cost whilst displaying a non-compromising attitude toward Safety and Quality.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for people and process as well as a leadership style which engages the team to deliver and meet production and quality standards on a daily basis. You must be prepared to be hands on and must be committed to encouraging your team members' involvement and contributions to workplace improvements.
 This role is Monday to Friday, 6.00 PM- 3.00 AM with some flexibility needed from time to time to work weekends and Public Holidays as and when required.
Key Responsibilities include: Implementing and delivering upon our daily plant hygiene and cleaning requirements.Leading and coordinating daily cleaning activities to ensure the Team meets/exceeds hygiene requirements at lowest costEnsuring team members are complying with company rules, policies and standard work and are trained to required standards.Identifying opportunities for improvement using proper tools and processesMeeting departmental and personal Key Performance Indicators (KPI's)Planning and labour allocation within budgetEnsuring all training for the department with relevant record keepingDriving a Health & Safety culture within the team and actively encouraging and rewarding positive behavioursTo be successful in this role you must have: 2-5 years industrial cleaning experience preferably in a food production environmentUnderstanding of and exposure to applicable cleaning methods, materials, and equipmentExperience in the application and safe handling of cleaning chemicalsExperience in building and leading teams including the ability to influence othersAble to make decisions within authority limits and when necessary, elevate issuesAble to balance conflicting prioritiesAble to interpret and use relevant reports and data Competitive salaryWhat do we offer?
