Purpose As a Night Auditor/ Night Porter , you will be the go-to person of the property when everyone else is asleep!
You will step into the role of a financial detective, making sure all the puzzle pieces fit perfectly in preparation for the next day's trading.
Whether it is a late-night guest inquiry or a minor maintenance issue, you are there to provide assistance and maintain the hotel's reputation for exceptional service.
This is a Fixed-Term Full Time contract ceasing 15 May 2025 with a minimum of 30 hours per week.
Primary Responsibilities Take charge of the reception desk duties and manage the crucial night audit process, ensuring that nightly reports are accurate and up to date.
Assist guests with all enquiries and complaints, and provide accurate information to guests about the property facilities and features.
Work closely with security to keep a watchful eye on the building's security systems, contributing to a safe and secure environment for guests and staff alike.
Assist guests with transport and travel arrangements, luggage delivery and storage, parking and valet services.
Assist the day team with their operations, ensuring a seamless guest experience that extends throughout the entire day and night.
Embrace the distinctive night shifts at our hotel, spanning from 11pm to 7am.
Skills and Experience You will be an independent worker who can take initiative and excel without constant supervision.
Your communication style is warm and welcoming, making both guests and team members feel at ease.
Prior experience in Night Audit and Accounts and technical know-how to efficiently handle the nightly audit of all hotel transactions is highly beneficial.
Adaptability and physical fitness to work in both internal and external environments, including staircases and uncovered areas.
Quick-thinking problem solver, putting the guest's needs at the forefront, and taking pride in crafting and delivering memorable guest experiences.
Reliable transportation and availability to work a variety of shifts including weekends and public holidays ensures you are part of our dependable team.
Drivers licence – possessing an open (manual) drivers licence is advantageous.
