The Role We have an extensive range of luxury accommodation at Millbrook Resort, the role involves ensuring guests are warmly greeted and a personalised experience is delivered. We are a collaborative team, delivering a high-end bespoke guest experience, whether it be assisting with luggage, delivering room service and undertaking security checks. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated with a strong customer focus. We are looking for someone who is honest, responsible, capable of working independently and as apart of a small team. Also, has the expertise to provide a five-star service, as well as hands-on support to the front office operation. The night shifts start around 10pm / 11pm until 7am. Therefore, the ideal candidate needs to be comfortable with night shifts and must have a high attention to detail including awareness to undertake security and maintenance checks.
Success Profile Passion for service delivery and the hospitality industry Great communication skills, coupled with a "can do" attitude In-depth local knowledge desirable High level of attention to detail and exceptional organisational skills Ability to work on own initiative, as well as, work as an effective team player Must be physically fit, as the role requires manual handling Resilient and able to respond to a variety of situations with a collaborative and flexible approach Solutions focused and ability to think quickly under pressured situations Ability to work weekends, public holidays, shift work including nights Full clean Driver's Licence is essential and must be confident driving passengers Knowledge of Opera PMS is desirable Location: Arrowtown, Queenstown.
Hours: Full time permanent (30/40 hours per week guaranteed)
Pay Banding: $26.00 - $30.00 gross per hour depending on experience.

What are some of your favourite aspects of working in the Front Office department? Again, the team makes the Front Office department such an enjoyable team to be part of. I also love taking care of our guests and finding creative ways to make their stay more memorable. Not one day is the same!
