As a Temple Facilities Assistant, you will ensure temple ordinances are kept pure, recorded accurately, and made available to temple patrons by maintaining and operating the Temple to standards established by the First Presidency. This includes assisting in the entire operation and maintenance process by completing tasks such as operating, maintaining and repairing mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems and equipment as assigned by the temple facilities manager. Perform and report on regular preventative maintenance service schedules for all equipment Ensuring that the care and maintenance of computerized heating and air conditioning equipment and controls operate at maximum efficiency. Servicing complex water treating equipment for water systems. Servicing and maintaining laundry and kitchen equipment. Maintaining baptismal font filtering and water purification system, water supply, mixer valves, etc Maintaining industrial high voltage three phase electrical system, conventional and electronic motor control systems, lighting system, electronic systems including computerized Temple Recording System, printers, all cable lines and power supplies. Servicing and adjusting all projection sound and communication systems. Making necessary modifications to any temple mechanical or electrical systems as needed. Participating in preparation of yearly facilities budget process, and project administration. Completion of 2 years technical training in a skilled trade plus 4 years' related experience 2 years' experience in physical plant operation including experience in skilled trades-electrical, electronics, plumbing, welding, carpentry, painting, general construction, blueprint reading, mechanics, and floor coverings. Willingness to rotate shifts and assignments while learning essential systems Computer literate with skills using Microsoft products Ability to lift to 25kgs.
