New Zealand - Associate Director of SchoolsAucklandNZD 100,000 - 125,000Key responsibilities include:Work in partnership with the director of church schools (DCS), central office personnel, area office personnel, and other stakeholders to ensure legal compliance with area and local educational requirements and laws.Assist in overseeing the church school's area annual operating budget, financial performance, and safeguarding of church assets and student safety.Manage, develop, and effectively train principals and educators to improve the learning experience for all students, including those with disabilities.Contribute to the Church schools' vision, strategies, and teaching strategy.Supervise and oversee job performance, professional development, and training of principals assigned to the area, which may include full-time and part-time employees.Regularly observe, assess, and provide feedback on the performance and development of those you lead and others in your area.Assist the DCS in developing and implementing school policies, procedures, and guidelines.Manage the work of other employees and workforce, including Missionaries, Volunteers, and Interns.Plan and conduct quarterly professional development discussions, hold monthly check-ins, and maintain regular conversations with those you lead.Provide regular in-service training for principals focused on improving their job performance and career development.Review and update a professional development plan, work towards accomplishing those goals, and report to the DCS.Establish and maintain a Christlike culture of unity, improvement, and accountability, escalating issues as needed.Partner with Human Resources (HR) and DCS to provide recommendations regarding the hiring, advancement, and promotion of employees under Church Schools supervision.Oversee data analysis, including formulating reports, presentations, and annual profiles.Manage the Pacific Church Schools social media platforms and website.Assist the Director of Church Schools with special projects as needed.
