• We are passionate about giving our employees the opportunity to grow their career within Schindler. About the role As New Installation / Modernisation Field Technician (Fitter), you will be responsible for the installation of new and modernised lifts and escalators across our customer sites.
Your key accountabilities will include:
Execute the installation of new and modernized lift/escalator applying the methods established by Schindler ensuring the achievement of performance targets. Ensuring work sites are set-up, kept tidy and that all paperwork is up to date Carry out site surveys Perform all works according to Schindler standards, including quality and safety policies. What we are looking for: You will ideally have previous experience in the lift industry in a similar role and a working knowledge of the lift codes and standards.
You will also possess:
A current NZ electrical licence (Electrician or Electrical Installer) or Strong Mechanical/Fitter Turner experience Eligibility to work permanently in New Zealand (citizen or permanent resident) NZ Driver's license Outstanding communication skills and customer service etiquette Excellent organisation skills, with the ability to work under pressure Working knowledge of Microsoft Apps (Excel, Outlook, Word) An uncompromising commitment to quality work and safety policies and procedures What's in it for you: Competitive base (Depending on qualification and industry experience): $74,000 – 84,000/year Annual Bonus Mobile phone Employee of the month & year recognition with rewards Long service recognition and reward program Potential for real growth both personally and professionally Opportunity to access educational support and social activities Do you want to move the future with us? • If so, we would like to hear from you, and look forward to receiving your complete application documents
