We wholeheartedly recognise and appreciate the unique diversity you bring to our community.We offer a comprehensive 12-month programme, 32 hours (0.8FTE) per week with the flexibility of 0.6 FTE being considered. Successful applicants will begin their role anytime from December 2024 onwards.As a new graduate in your Midwifery First Year of Practice, you will gain experience across a range of options including the following (but not exhaustive):Secondary and tertiary hospital environments - rotations through the antenatal, labour and birthing suite, and postnatal wardsPrimary maternity unit and hubs located in urban, semi-urban, rural and remote settingsExperience working in a caseload team alongside our maternity settingsBe part of an integrated system where primary, secondary and tertiary services network and provide a safe childbearing journeyOpportunity to tailor a career across different work environmentsOur Director of Midwifery, Midwife Managers, Educators, Clinical Coaches and midwives will support you through your journey in caring for our whanau. We provide a comprehensive and flexible orientation package. We are a close-knit creative and passionate community of midwives.
