We are a state integrated Y1–8 Catholic school in Napier on the search for an experienced new entrant teacher to join our team from the beginning of term 1, 2025. We are looking for an educator who:
Builds strong relationships with learners, staff, whanau and the wider community
Is an innovative and forward-thinking educator
Has practical experience in structured literacy, preference in BSLA
Commits to providing high-quality learning experiences in both faith and learning development
Brings an understanding of cultural capabilities, culturally responsive practice, and commitment to giving effect to Te Tiriti o Waitangi
Has a great sense of humour
A growth mindset and a willingness to take on new learning
Passion and joy in teaching and learning with the learner at the heart of everything they do
Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
An inclusive approach and an ability to support students to achieve their full potential.

A willingness and ability to take part in religious instruction appropriate to the special character of the school is a condition of appointment. Additionally, the applicant has to complete Cl 47 Special Character form.
