New Entrant Teacher

Full time, Fixed term, Start Date: 28/01/2025, End Date: 27/01/2026 (Maternity leave)
Primary and intermediate (Years 1–8) / kura tuatahi, Certificated teacher
Subjects: English, Health and physical education, Learning languages, Mathematics and statistics, Science, Social sciences, Technology, Te reo Maori, The arts
Oratia District School is a well-resourced school situated in the foothills of the Waitakere Ranges of West Auckland.
Due to maternity leave, we are seeking an enthusiastic, collaborative new entrant teacher to join our existing friendly team on a fixed term basis for 2025.
We are seeking a new entrant teacher who:
Has a passion for developing strong ECE connections and transitioning tamariki into our school
Brings joy to learning and your classroom
Understands the diverse needs of students and helps them grow in both learning and social skills
Has the ability to collaborate in a team and build strong relationships with your akonga and their whanau.
This full time, fixed term position commences on 28 January 2025 and ends on 27 January 2026.
