You will be responsible for communicating and collaborating with stakeholders on IT Network technical requirements and developing a road map and vision for the future with our network partner. With overarching responsibility for Genesis Energy's network you will ensure it is implemented and maintained in a secure, reliable and scalable manner. You will build successful partnerships with project teams as well as partner with business unit personnel to deliver customer-facing and internal network services. Key responsibilities will include:Lead and drive delivery and maintenance of the Genesis network and related network services.Drive delivery towards an end state zero-trust network architecture.Collaborate closely with our network partner to deliver against target state outcomes, providing leadership and guidance across project initiatives and BAU activities.Implement, enforce and maintain Genesis secure configuration standards across the Genesis networking environment.Lead network related incidents to resolution, working with partners, stakeholders and incident managers as needed.Ensure basic network hygiene is carried out, with all network assets effectively and centrally managed.Support the Information Security Analysts with regular firewall policy audits and own the identification, treatment and management of network risks.Drive simplicity, reliability and scalability in line with architectural principles.About YouIdeally you have a tertiary qualification in Information and Communication Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Ideally, you will also hold a CCNP, CCNP Security, or possess equivalent experience. With a minimum of 7 years of networking expertise, you should demonstrate proficiency in Cisco technologies (including route, switch, ISE, wireless, and DNA) and Fortinet products (such as Fortigate and FortiAnalyzer).Your background should encompass enterprise-level design and build experience. Strong troubleshooting and problem resolution skills are essential, along with a thorough understanding of network security principles, including least access, authentication, and zero trust network access.
