You will be responsible for managing third party access onto the network and assessing third party development applications, working to ensure asset outcomes are not compromised by others' work through innovative thinking and solutions-focused problem solving.The role will use your strong analytical and problem-solving skills to ensure the Transport Agency is successful in delivering a safe transport system to our customers, whilst demonstrating value for money.You will be working alongside great people who are passionate about what we do every day for NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi. Most of all to benefit our communities so they can move safely and efficiently to work, school, or for recreation.To be successful in this role, you will bring:Technical and practical experience in asset management and road construction methodologies including onsite assessments or similarExperience at dealing with complex and sensitive issues in a political environmentAn understanding of financial monitoring, accruals and forecastingAbility to prioritise tasks and self-manage workloadStrong customer and stakeholder management skillsGood understanding of safety and resilience for our communitiesNZ Driver's Licence (or equivalent) is requiredYou will demonstrate knowledge of, or a willingness to gain an understanding of Te Ao Maori and promote tikanga and Te Reo Maori.
