Mercy Hospital in Epsom is currently undergoing the biggest redevelopment in its significant history dating back over 100 years.
This includes the construction of an impressive new wing next to the existing hospital buildings that will see MercyAscot become the leading private healthcare facility in New Zealand.
We're looking for a Network Engineer to join our redevelopment project team and provide IT networking and systems expertise.
This is a full-time role for a fixed term of six months, working Monday to Friday including some after hours and occasional weekend work if required.
Key Responsibilities:Ensure MercyAscot's network systems are cost effective, reliable, efficient and secure.Monitor, research, test, and implement measures to ensure optimisation of networking systems.Identify and provide advice on risk mitigation initiatives.Support the disaster recovery platform and test failovers.Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders e.g.
Charge Nurses.Other tasks requested by IT Manager e.g.
acting as Project lead for ICS projects.Minimum Requirements:Minimum 5 years' experience in Network and Systems Administration/Engineering.Certification in Cisco, Fortinet, Microsoft, VMware, ITIL or Citrix is an advantage.Amazing interpersonal skills.Great attention to detail.Superb organisation and time management skills.At MercyAscot we care about what's important to our patients and because we are smarter together we take a patient driven, collaborative approach.
