The Top Energy Group operates throughout the Far North delivering geothermal electricity generation and electricity network operations. Our purpose is providing affordable and sustainable energy for Far North consumers, which we are achieving by transforming the Top Energy Group into a technology-enabled energy company that generates and facilitates two-way energy flow between renewable energy generators and consumers.Due to an internal transfer, our Control Centre is looking for a strong team player to be part of a team instrumental in the safe operation of the Top Energy Network and the maintenance of the associated systems and records that are required to run the Network safely and efficiently, taking into account our commercial responsibilities.This position will report to the Control Centre Manager and will be based in Kerikeri.Key areas of focus will be to:Participate in a 24/7 shift roster, providing operational control of the network and operation of Top Energy Network's Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS)Liaise with Contractor Fault Coordinators and service delivery divisions as requiredProvide switching application and approval services to approved ContractorsSchedule and configure network outages to minimise disruption to customersTo succeed in this role, you will have at least three years' experience in an operational role in the electrical industry. Preference will be given if you have held, or do hold, an electrical practicing licence or have a relevant tertiary qualification.
