Network Connections Analyst - 6 months fixed-term New Plymouth We are looking for a Network Connections Analyst to join our wider Strategy and Finance team for a fixed term. Your attention to detail will be top-notch, and you'll be thorough, accurate, and sharp when it comes to data. You'll dive into various data sets, analyze them, cross-check the information, and report your findings. Interpreting the results accurately will be a key part of your day, supporting informed decision-making in the organization.

We are one of the top workplaces to grow your career (2023 LinkedIn Top Companies List for Aotearoa).About the role As a Network Connection Analyst, you'll be at the heart of creating new electricity installations (ICPs) and ensuring all the details for electricity and gas installations are accurate in Powerco's Customer Works Management System (CWMS) and the Registry. You'll also play a key part in gas and electricity audits, ensuring everything meets industry standards. Plus, you'll help maintain great relationships between Powerco and its stakeholders.
We're looking for an inquisitive problem solver who likes to understand why and how things work, helping the Billing and Reconciliation team strive for continuous improvement. We value free thinkers who are keen to bring fresh perspectives to solving problems.
To be a success in this role, you will need: Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, which are essential for excelling in this role.The ability to process weekly reconciliations, validations, and provide analytical information is essential. Understanding regulatory requirements and continuously monitoring ICP attributes is key.Experience in working collaboratively with team members and supporting internal and external stakeholders.Effective problem-solving skills and the ability to think outside the box will help in system fixes, process improvements, and handling various tasks.It would be ideal if you have: A continuous improvement mindset, actively participating in process and system reviews, gathering feedback, and leading proposed changes to drive ongoing success and innovation in the role.Creativity and the ability to solve problems in unconventional ways.About us Our purpose is to connect communities.
