Network Connections Analyst - 6 months fixed-term Location: New Plymouth We are looking for a Network Connections Analyst to join our wider Strategy and Finance team for a fixed term.
Your attention to detail will be top-notch, and you'll be thorough, accurate, and sharp when it comes to data.
You'll dive into various data sets, analyze them, cross-check the information, and report your findings.
Interpreting the results accurately will be a key part of your day, supporting informed decision-making in the organization.

About the role: As a Network Connection Analyst, you'll be at the heart of creating new electricity installations (ICPs) and ensuring all the details for electricity and gas installations are accurate in Powerco's Customer Works Management System (CWMS) and the Registry.
You'll also play a key part in gas and electricity audits, ensuring everything meets industry standards and maintaining great relationships between Powerco and its stakeholders.
We're after an inquisitive problem solver who will help the Billing and Reconciliation team strive for continuous improvement.
We value free thinkers who are keen to bring fresh perspectives to solving problems.
To be a success in this role, you will need: Intermediate to advanced Excel skills Ability to process weekly reconciliations, validations, and provide analytical information Experience in working collaboratively with team members and supporting internal and external stakeholders Effective problem-solving skills and the ability to think outside the box It would be ideal if you have: A continuous improvement mindset Creativity and ability to solve problems in unconventional ways About us: Our purpose is to connect communities.
