Details of the offer

NETP Nurse Educator
Fixed term, Monday to Friday, 64hrs / fortnight
If you want to work in a multi-cultural community and workplace, if you want to work for an organisation that places value on the quality of everything it does, then Counties Manukau DHB (CMDHB) is where you should be.
Nurse Entry to Practice (NETP) is a comprehensive 12-month program which aims to provide a supportive environment in which graduate nurses can progress and ensure competency is maintained throughout their first year of practice, enabling them to provide a high standard of Patient and Whaanau Centred care and promote continuing professional development.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join our People & Professional Development team to support and provide clinical guidance for our Graduates and their Preceptors across CMDHB.
As the NETP Educator, you will role model excellence in clinical practice and assist Graduate Nurses in nursing assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
You will support the NETP Coordinator and Clinical Coaches in meeting the NETP programme requirements, including preparation and facilitation of education days on the programme.
If you want to make a difference, then this is the perfect position for you! The People and Professional Development Team strives to support the organisation by equipping and empowering our nursing workforce to deliver the highest quality patient and whaanau centred care, which is research-based and challenges the skills and competence of our staff.
