3PI is an NZ-owned and operated company that provides a non-biased inspection service to our clients to ensure their products meet New Zealand or International standards and client specifications. The majority of 3PI's work scope is Non Destructive Testing (NDT) and Asset Integrity Management (AIM).
Our experience in NDT and inspection services encompasses onshore and offshore projects, mining sites, construction projects, subsea pipelines, oil platform maintenance, oil terminals, refineries, paper mill plants, food process plants, chemical plants, structural steel and the marine industry.
About the role:
An opportunity exists for an NDT Technician to conduct client testing requirements in Mount Maunganui – North Island. You will ideally have extensive experience in a similar NDT role carrying out Magnetic Particle, Dye Penetrant, Ultrasonic and Radiographic Non-Destructive Testing on petrochemical industry, oil & gas or heavy industrial sites. You will also have good client relationship-building skills and the ability to work autonomously.
Responsibilities: ISO 9712 Level 2 certification in MT, PT, UT & RT
ISO 9712 Level 2 certification in PAUT, TOFD & ET are advantageous
Good communication and interpersonal skills
An understanding and commitment to HSE
Advanced attention to detail and organizational skills
Unrestricted New Zealand work rights
Driving License
