Ideally you will have the following certifications: MT/PT/UT2wIn this role you will provide NDT testing, welding inspection and consultancy services to light and heavy industry to clients to help them solve their maintenance problems. In addition, you will carry our specialist NDT checks and evaluations of existing plant, welds, mechanical failures, corrosion and erosion and advising and supervising repairs.Key Responsibilities:Carry out component inspections of items such as structures, bridges, specialist construction sites as requested, pressure vessels, pipe work, boilers, heat exchangers, tanks, pumps, and the like and ensure that all tasks are completed and delivered in a timely manner to meet customer expectations and compliance requirementsWork with clients on plant shut downs to complete accurate inspections on all equipment using various NDT techniques on plant and equipment and provide client reports in a timely manner to ensure all information reported is delivered to minimize disruption to the customer production schedulesCommunicate with customers to initiate or carry out their requirements to maintain optimum customer satisfactionEnsure compliance with SGS management systems (ISO17020,17025 etc).Qualifications A minimum of two years practical work experience NDT industry practicesNDTCertifications required are MT/PT/UT2wThese certifications would be an advantage: Magnetic particle testing, Dye - Penetrant testing, Eddy Current, Phased Array, TOFD.Current and clean New Zealand driver'slicense (car) is essential.General site safety awareness and training.Additional Information In return, SGS offers a competitive salary and encourages ongoing training and development.Applicants must be a New Zealand citizen, resident, or hold a valid visa.#J-18808-Ljbffr
