Reporting directly to the General Manager - New Zealand and taking a seat in the Senior Leadership team, you will lead a talented group of up to eight professionals, shaping the future of our truck sales operation across the country.In this role, you'll not only manage the team, but also play a hands-on role in providing expert sales and account management to our key fleet customers. If you're ready to lead, build strong client partnerships, and push the boundaries of what's possible in truck sales, we want to hear from you!Your Role:To develop and maintain a strategy and business plan for the sale of MAN and Western Star trucks to retail and fleet customers throughout NZ in line with budgeted targets.Be accountable for the negotiation, tender & quotation process and sales outcomes of major fleet customer contracts and tenders.Review monthly sales performance of the sales team and prepare and submit sales reports for the NZ leadership team and broader Penske business.Train, manage and mentor the national retail trucks sales team to ensure the overall sales and profitability objectives for the company are met.Regularly share with fleet customers and the sales team all applicable updates on product development, technical specifications, regional and national regulations, and industry developments.Participate in relevant industry conferences and seminars such as field days, truck shows etc.Ensure new truck handover is conducted professionally and exceeds the expectations of our customers, and our business.Be the product champion by actively pursuing and converting potential customers, exploring untapped markets, and positioning the company's products to penetrate new segments and regions.An iconic brand in both the business and racing worlds, the Penske organisation is a Fortune 500 company with a global presence, with over 50,000 employees.
