Reporting to the Head of Advisory, this position is based in our central Auckland office with regular national travel required.
This is a senior management role, and you will be leading the local Auckland team of 29 Private Wealth Assistants as well as leading the 3 Regional Support Managers who cover the 20-branch network of 125 talented support staff.
The focus will be on ensuring that the network support staff have the appropriate knowledge and skills to perform their roles to the highest level.
There will be a focus on creating efficiencies and enhancements through best practice, use of new technology and improved communication and co-ordination.
As this position spans the whole of New Zealand, you should have the ability to travel, but also to manage remote teams effectively.
Key skills and experience Preferably 10+ years of experience in financial services, ideally within a private wealth advisory environmentExperience managing, coaching and developing large teamsIn-depth knowledge of CRM systems – ideally Microsoft Dynamics or other Private Wealth or Custodial platforms and experience in training others in their useSound knowledge of the New Zealand financial services compliance environmentProject management within a financial services contextClear communicator and influencer with strong written and verbal skillsExcellent problem solverCollaborative team playerRelevant tertiary qualification preferred, either Finance, Legal or Business Administration or NZ Certificate in Financial Services Level 5.About the Company Craigs Investment Partners (CIP) is a multi-award winning investment advisory firm which is one of the largest in New Zealand.
