National Sales Manager, Non-Alc Beverage

Position Overview: We seek a results-oriented National Sales Manager with a proven track record in the non-alcoholic beverage sector, specifically fresh juice.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in launching new and emerging brands, opening new doors, and managing sales across natural specialty retail, mass grocery, convenience, drug, and food service channels.
This role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and excellent relationship-building skills to drive sales and expand our market presence.
Key Responsibilities: Sales Strategy and Execution: Develop effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets in assigned channels.
Identify and capitalize on new sales opportunities within natural specialty retail, mass grocery, convenience, drug, and food service sectors.
Drive the launch of new and emerging brands, ensuring successful market entry and growth.
Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with customers to secure favorable deals.
Open new doors and expand the company's presence in target markets.
Channel Development: Expand the company's presence in natural specialty retail, mass grocery, convenience, drug, and food service channels.
Tailor sales approaches to fit the unique needs and dynamics of each channel.
Work with brokers, direct store delivery (DSD) partners, and wholesalers across the US to enhance distribution and sales coverage.
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team.
Set clear performance goals and provide regular feedback and coaching to team members.
Market Analysis and Reporting: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences to inform sales strategies.
Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and performance analyses to senior management.
Collaborative Efforts: Work closely with marketing, product development, and supply chain teams to align sales efforts with overall business objectives.
Coordinate with the marketing team to develop promotional programs and sales materials.
Trade Shows and Events: Represent the company at industry trade shows, conferences, and events to promote products and build industry connections.
Participate in customer meetings and presentations to showcase product offerings.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the non-alcoholic beverage industry, ideally in fresh juices or refrigerated beverages.
Proven experience in launching new and emerging brands, and opening new doors in various retail channels.
Experience managing sales within natural specialty retail, mass grocery, convenience, drug, and food service channels.
Strong experience working with brokers, DSD partners, and wholesalers across the US.
Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to lead and motivate a sales team to achieve goals.
Proficiency in sales software and CRM systems.
Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
Preferred Location: San Antonio, TX although remote candidates will be considered.
Compensation: Base Salary plus commission.
We offer a flexible benefits package that currently includes health care, dental care, vision care, life insurances and disability plans.
Subject to the specific terms and conditions of the respective plans, you will be eligible to participate in such benefits on the first of the month following 30 days of active employment.
The company currently pays 100% of the employees' portion of the monthly premium for dental, and vision insurance.
The company will also cover all or a portion of your Health Insurance premiums, based on the policy selected.
Employees can insure their eligible dependents at an additional cost.
We offer a 401(k) Retirement Plan with matching employer contributions of 25% of the first 6% of your compensation, which is deferred as an elective deferral.
The 401(k)-company match is 100% vested immediately.
You are eligible to participate in the plan on the 1st of the month after completing six (6) months of continuous employment.
Paid time off benefits covering holidays, sick pay, and vacation, as provided in Vilore's policies.
You will be eligible for two (2) weeks of PTO, accrued monthly, and three (3) weeks' PTO after three (3) years of employment, and finally with your 10th year of employment you will accrue (4) weeks of vacation.
You are eligible to carry over 40 hours of PTO from one year to the next.
