Te Momo Turanga | Contract: Permanent Te Wahi |Where: Auckland Te Whiwhinga Mahi| The Opportunity Reporting into the Head of Growth and New Business, this newly created role will be leading our high performing team of Business Development Managers and responsible for the creation and evolution of the group sales strategy.With ambitious growth targets, we are seeking a proactive and proven National Sales Manager to drive revenue generation and foster strategic relationships with customers and key channel partners.Responsibilities of this role include: · Establishing and maintaining strong business partnerships with key stakeholders both internally and externally · Instilling a strong commercial selling culture · Supporting and removing roadblocks for our BDM's, enabling the team to thrive · Creating a clear road map of opportunities and ensuring there is a sufficient pipeline to achieve and exceed revenue targets · Leading and closing key large/complex customer opportunities in conjunction with the BDM's and wider Chorus business · Undertaking relevant research and analysis to understand customer problems and opportunities which could lead to new products and opportunities · Supporting the delivery of Chorus's strategy O Wheako, o Pukenga | Your Experience This role directly impacts the financial success of the company through its ability to secure new business, retain and grow existing customers, drive revenue and strategically set the course for growth so we need someone with the ability to step into the role and make the magic happen.Your background doesn't need to be based in telecommunications, but you do need to be comfortable with selling technology so experience and competence in this area is a must.
Strong business and commercial acumen is integral and having already established senior business relationships with relevant technology channel partners and customers would be advantageous.
