National Sales Manager We are seeking a self-motivated National Sales Manager focused on business development. This inspirational leader will be eager to work for a leading business within a supportive team, aiming to achieve exceptional earnings.

About the Role A proactive and experienced Business Development Manager who thrives in a leadership role is sought to join the successful NZ team. Based in Wellington with WFH, this individual will drive the company's growth strategy in New Zealand by:
Leading and motivating a small team, and self-acquiring new business across various sectors such as large format retail, education, healthcare, hospitality, and commercial. Managing, leading, and motivating a small BDM team in New Zealand with a focus on growth. Developing and implementing a strategic business development plan, for yourself and your team, to acquire new clients and expand market presence. Nurturing relationships with key decision-makers to understand their needs and propose tailored solutions. Managing a pipeline of leads and actively seeking new business opportunities in strategic market parallels. Prospecting through cold calling (phone) and face-to-face visits. Selling based on unique USPs. Preparing and presenting quotes & checking your team's quotes (training and support provided). Collaborating closely with the operations management team to ensure seamless service delivery and exceed client expectations. Serving as the key point of contact for quarterly client reviews. Managing your own territory – Mid North Island down (currently including SI). Completing all administration and reporting. About You An inspirational people leader who knows and understands the Commercial Cleaning market (or similar contract selling in commercial services/utilities market):
Experience in contract management and client retention strategies. An exceptional communicator with no cold call reluctance. Clear and professional phone manner, excellent written communication skills, and confident and engaging in face-to-face meetings. Proven track record in B2B sales, preferably in the commercial cleaning industry, facilities management, or related sectors. Strong negotiation and presentation skills. Ability to relate to stakeholders from diverse businesses, with an understanding of the sales cycle and their decision-making processes. Demonstrated success in you and your team achieving activity and sales KPIs. Ability to work autonomously and prioritize tasks effectively.
