As a National Quality Manager, you will play a pivotal role in delivering complex construction projects across New Zealand. The successful candidate will lead the quality function across New Zealand and the Pacific Islands, overseeing our quality management systems and processes, while ensuring they are effective and fit for purpose.

About the role

Ensure projects set up effectively implements the appropriate systems consistently across all projects.
Continuous improvement of the systems that support Quality, Completions, Commissioning and Document Control.
Ensuring staff are thoroughly aware of and trained in their quality management responsibilities.
Willingness and ability to develop and nurture a team with a productive and efficient culture.
Establish a positive culture around Quality and develop campaigns to promote this culture.
Ensure that all employees are made aware of the quality management requirements related to their scope of work.
Advise and assist Project Managers and Project Quality personnel in the development, implementation, and review of project quality management systems.
Report on quality management risks and prepare quality statistics and monthly reports.
Ensure compliance reviews are scheduled and carried out with consultation with project quality representatives.

About your capability, behaviours and experience
At least 15 years operational experience in the application of quality management principles in the construction industry.
Relevant tertiary technical qualification is an advantage but not essential.
Communicates clearly and concisely.
Competent user of software, with working knowledge of wider applications.
Experience in investigating and reporting quality incidents.
Working knowledge of risk assessment and audit procedures.
Lead ISO 9001 Auditor Certification.
