Through integration and collaboration, we're building a health system underpinned by partnership, equity, sustainability, whanau-centred care, and excellence.About the RoleIn this role, you will be instrumental in establishing, leading, and managing Deployment and Delivery management function and teams to deliver and deploy the agreed Health Technology Management (HTM) clinical asset renewals and capital plans in line with the strategic and business goals of Te Whatu Ora.You will draw on your programme/project management skills and experience to lead the establishment of workforce development and retention plans to build the necessary Project Management Office (PMO) capacity and capabilities to deliver various Health Technology/Medical equipment capital projects, while overseeing a PMO team and functions including governance.About the Team/Service/ LocationReporting to the General Manager, HTM and as part of the Senior Leadership Team, you will manage a deployment and delivery function to commission clinical equipment projects. This function works closely with national, regional and local clinical groups, infrastructure and facilities, Data and Digital, and other support services, procurement and clinical product management.About youWe're looking for someone who can motivate our talented people through a shared vision. You'll be an energic, passionate and accomplished leader.Experience leading, championing and managing a clinical capital Programme/Project Management Office (PMO) and functions, leading change with a record of successful implementation, organisation wide.Demonstrated experience at a leadership level for developing, maintaining and influencing relationships and partnerships across sectors and organisations as well as building capacity and improving performance.Experience navigating and operating in a regulated environment, working constructively across functions and a track record of building and maintaining the trust of all stakeholders.Demonstrated experience in Service Delivery Innovation - Exploring and implementing ways of delivering services that contribute to the improvement of services and deliver on organisational objectives.Management level experience and responsibility for managing capital and operational budgets, forecasting, and cost management.Relevant tertiary qualification in a relevant field and/or equivalent level of practical experience beneficial.Competency with te ao Maori, tikanga, and te reo Maori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth.Experience in projects/initiatives which give effect to Te Tiriti principles and frameworks, and the application of Matauranga Maori and Kaupapa Maori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings.Working for Health New ZealandHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is 'the weaving of wellness'.
