Are you ready to lead the brand and marketing strategy for one of New Zealand's most trusted brands?
We are looking for a dynamic National Brand and Marketing Manager to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will lead and manage the implementation of strategic brand and portfolio marketing initiatives that resonate with our audience. Your mahi will enhance market preference and brand reputation, driving product and programme growth while solidifying our position as one of New Zealand's most trusted brands.
Your leadership will help shape and execute innovative marketing initiatives that elevate our brand presence and strengthen our connection with communities across the motu. Your expertise in brand development and strategic marketing will drive impactful campaigns that resonate with our audience and reinforce our commitment to building strong resilient communities.

Key responsibilities: Lead the Brand and Marketing team to design, develop and deliver engaging brand and marketing strategies to achieve product, community impact programme and fundraising objectives and improve community engagement.
Work with the GM Customer Experience and Marketing to lead the development and implementation of a compelling Community Health brand positioning and community impact story-telling strategy. Set the foundations and lead priority initiatives to drive increased awareness of Hato Hone St John community impact in addition to ambulance and clinical services.
Lead effective ways of working across the brand and marketing team, with product, community impact programme, fundraising and other stakeholders across the organisation, including reviewing and implementing effective approvals and stakeholder review processes.
Review our approach to brand research and marketing insights to evaluate and determine the most effective use of current investments to maximise the delivery of meaningful, useful and timely insights, creating regular reports for ELT and SLT on the health of our brand, reputation and portfolio insights to guide the organisation, brand and portfolio marketing teams to create insight-led plans.
Qualifications Ko wai koe - About you:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Relevant tertiary qualification, industry certifications, or equivalent experience in a related discipline (e.g. Marketing, Communications, Business Studies, etc) required.
8+ years' experience in relevant field (brand, product or portfolio marketing, advertising, communications, fundraising).
Experience leading and managing brand, marketing, or fundraising teams to develop and deliver successful campaigns, advertising materials and sales promotions, including creative and measurement tactics, in a medium-large organization or creative agency.
Proven understanding of creative, media or advertising agency operations including demonstrable success leading, creating and delivering engaging, impactful, social impact campaigns as well as product marketing.
Experience leading, developing, and coaching people to foster high performance and team engagement.
