Use your teaching experience & passion for learning tools to promote our Education range to support teachers & schools & students across the motu.Are you passionate about educating but ready to step outside of the classroom?Support teachers & schools across the motu, help shape the learning experience.Use your teaching experience to promote our range & help create new learning.In this unique role you will be a critical part of the Education Team.Bring your teaching expertise and work collaboratively with our Education Account Managers across the motu, partnering with teachers and schools in order to share our Education solutions. You will also build strong relationships with our Education Buyer, product suppliers and internal teams to identify other solutions that will support Aotearoa's education system - ensuring the products we represent are truly what our teachers and students need.As well as having excellent written and verbal communication skills, you will have a sound understanding of the New Zealand education curriculum and thrive with new challenges, being a keen negotiator.Key Responsibilities:Develop, plan and deliver initiatives which actively promote OfficeMax's education, art and digital learning range to the Education market.Play a significant role supporting our marketing team to develop collateral by sharing your understanding of schools, teachers and the NZ curriculum, as well as producing articles and lessons plans to support our marketing material to build credibility and drive growth.Research, develop, and identify education, art and digital technologies products to meet NZ sector needs alongside our buyers.Support the delivery of the Education, Art, Digital Technologies category sales, growth, customer satisfaction and retention targets.Coach and Train our Education Account Managers on education, art and digital technologies range, the NZ curriculum and Ministry of Education expectations to optimise their influence of key education decision-makers.Represent OfficeMax at Teaching conferences, develop and run workshops and present at specialist forums e.g., expo, conferences, to promote OfficeMax's education and digital technologies solutions, generate leads, and drive growth.Manage and co-ordinate OfficeMax's response to requests for Tenders and RFPs.Act as technical subject matter expert on all elements of Education, Art and Digital Technologies products, including curriculum alignment, sustainability expertise and accreditation requirements.What you will bring:Recent experience working with or within Education sector - ideally in the implementation and use of modern teaching pedagogies and the New Zealand curriculum.Deep, applied knowledge of the NZ Education System, pedagogy and Curriculum to shape segment strategy, product development and priority targets.Formal presentations - facilitation and development.Good oral and written communication skills.Understanding processes and systems.Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Word and Excel.Sustainability champion.People and Culture:A business that cares, take your birthday and a wellbeing day off on us!Staff buying rates.Hybrid working arrangements with at least three days based in the office.Great people!
