With a values-centric culture, they create fit-for-purpose homes that enable diverse client communities to belong, thrive, and celebrate uniqueness.About the Role:Reporting to the GM and as part of the Asset Management Leadership team, you will be responsible for the management of the team of Asset Managers for the social housing portfolio, approximately 2,000 properties. The focus is to ensure the delivery of high-quality asset management ensuring high standards in contract maintenance are delivered. Alongside the technical competency is to ensure priority is placed on team collaboration with Tenancy Services to foster a culture that places critical importance on providing safe and comfortable homes for their tenants, all the while protecting the long-term value of the social housing assets.You will ensure property assets are maintained within budget, and oversee maintenance activities (planned and reactive), capital renewal projects, property surveys, and compliance reporting. This includes contributing to asset management strategies, acting as the Contract Manager for the Facilities Management Contracts, maintenance programme design and delivery via managing maintenance contracts, and service coordination with Tenancy Services.The largest social housing portfolio sits in the Bay of Plenty region, with a balance of properties across Auckland, Wellington, and Christchurch, this will require a dedication to building wider team relations working across New Zealand.What you will bring:You will bring proven leadership in managing people within a national property portfolio, ideally gained within the community or social housing sector. Your expertise in strategic asset management, maintenance planning, managing Facilities Management contracts, and regulatory compliance is essential.
