The opportunity: In this exciting new role, you will collaborate with key stakeholders across AIA New Zealand to lead and enhance healthcare provider engagement, responsible for building a comprehensive programme with healthcare providers throughout New Zealand. Your efforts will ensure our customers receive exceptional care, aligning with our commitment to helping them live Healthier, Longer, Better Lives.
Key responsibilities include: Leading the design and implementation of a comprehensive, digitally focused healthcare provider contracting strategy and framework. Identifying and pursuing opportunities to engage with healthcare providers, driving initiatives to expand AIA's presence in the healthcare provider network. Building and maintaining strong, professional partnerships with key healthcare providers. Overseeing the research, negotiation, execution, implementation, and review of both new and existing healthcare provider contracts. Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure provider contracts are strategically aligned and clinically relevant. Establishing efficient processes to ensure timely and effective management of contracted services. Partnering with the Product team to assess and address contracting needs for new health products. Leading the development and implementation of advanced claims data capture processes, including clinical coding strategies. Analyzing historical claims data to assess pricing implications, identify emerging trends, and address outlier claims. Creating and managing reporting structures to monitor claims cost savings generated through provider contracting and related initiatives. Ideally, you'll bring: Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills. Extensive experience in relationship management, with a proven ability to foster strong, trust-based relationships across all levels, including private healthcare providers and internal stakeholders. Outstanding negotiation and influencing abilities, with a talent for collaborating to deliver solutions that align with business objectives. Demonstrated expertise in business planning, strategic development, and execution. Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills, complemented by strong financial acumen and logical reasoning. Deep understanding of processes, with a proven track record of driving continuous improvement initiatives.
