Wiri location with flexible working hoursStrong leading and communicate skillsImplement and managing specification systems We are looking for a National Food Technologist to join our technical team based at our Wiri Plant.The purpose of this role is to implement and manage Hellers specifications system, lead trials at the Wiri site, carryout artwork approvals, and become Hellers export and customer standards specialist.The implementation of Hellers specification management system into all four Hellers production facilities across New Zealand and Australia (ANZ), includes delivering navigation and system training to key users and acting on related queries.
There is an element of data entry, with expectation that time will be required on the production floor sourcing information, learning processes, and supporting teams to use and understand the new specification formats.This role will include leading and/or supporting trials conducted at the Wiri site.
Trials can be requested from various departments within Hellers including NPD, Streamline, Purchasing, Production and QA.
The ability to liaise with multiple functions is key.As our specification system becomes business-as-usual (BAU) across ANZ, the role will also assume the tasks of reviewing and approving artwork for ANZ to ensure labels meet our legislative and customer requirements and becoming Hellers export and customer standards specialist to provide advice and support to regional teams in both ANZ.
While reporting to the Technical Systems Manager, the role will work closely with teams across all Hellers sites.Flexible working hours and travel to other sites will be required.
As this is a national resource, from time to time this individual may be requested to provide guidance or assistance to sites with food safety, quality or compliance related issues or when resource is required.To be successful in this role, you will be computer literate with advanced excel and word skills and the ability to input and analyse data.
You will be a champion communicator by having the ability to communicate in a constructive and influential manner, both written and verbal.In addition to this, we are looking for someone that is:Process orientated and methodical in approach to task completion.Strong leading and communication skills.Competent in using MS Office applications.A working knowledge of Sharepoint and Flows would be advantageousGood understanding of FSANZ labelling requirements would be idealGood understanding of export standards, customer standards and GFSI standardsIf you are interested in this role, apply nowApplication will be review as received closes on 15th September 2024
