As well as providing Ambulance Services, our programmes and team of over 11,000 staff and volunteers are helping to build strong, resilient communities across the motu; supporting everyone in Aotearoa to live healthier, happier and longer lives.Job DescriptionHato Hone St John are seeking the services of a National Fleet & Field Services Manager, which supports the delivery of our core services across New Zealand.Our fleet comprises of nearly 1,400 vehicles including our frontline ambulances, response vehicles and community health shuttles. This role coordinates the delivery of vehicles, specialist construction and the operation of our servicing requirements across New Zealand.It is likely that you will have five years or more of experience in the management of complex fleets, or allied assets and have demonstrated experience in all aspects of the procurement supply chain and ongoing servicing support.QualificationsKo wai koe - About you:To be successful in this role, we are looking for a balanced combination of the following skills;Demonstrated experience in fleet analytics, including specified fuel and environmental performanceStrong financial acumen, including budgeting of both our fixed costs and leasing costs, and ongoing servicing budgetsStrong system and process experience, which includes designing process flow and the preparation of quality and performance standards across our fleet teamYour leadership style needs to be adaptive to a wide range of individuals, as you will be leading a team of over 40 who support this critical infrastructureThe ability to work in a collaborative way with key vendors to ensure market opportunities are fully evaluatedA successful candidate will need to possess strong communication skills, including the preparation of technical papers to Board level, with a strong commitment to continuous improvement.How to ApplyIf you are strongly self-motivated with sound industry or allied industry experience and possess all of the key skills, then this role will provide you with a rewarding career challenge.To submit an application click on 'I'm Interested' before applications close on 22nd September.For further information, please review the position description attached or reach out to David Thomas or Lindsey Frankland on 0273098372.
