Details of the offer

At HRV we believe everyone should love the feeling of coming home. In fact, since we started in 2003, we've helped over 500,000 Kiwis love the feeling of coming back to a warm, dry home. We provide whole home solutions, covering Ventilation, Water Filtration, Heat Pumps, Air Conditioning and EV Charging. Since 2017 we have been part of Vector Limited, so you know you have the backing of a company that is leading the transformation of the energy sector. Job Description Are you an experienced Electrical Inspector with a current NZ Electrical Inspector registration and looking to get off the tools? Then talk to us - we've got just the role for you!
We are looking for a key mentor to coach and train our Electrical teams to implement and manage training programmes for all licensed electrical workers and trainees, to achieve electrical best practice and standards. This role will also support the wider business to ensure we meet all standards and regulations necessary for the installation and servicing of all our products, including taking accountability for electrical manuals (including development for new products) and auditing work to ensure these standards are met.
We are also looking for someone with thorough knowledge of NZ electrical regulations, HVAC experience, and strong communication skills with a friendly and professional manner. Being self-motivated, safety-focused, and having the ability to work both on your own and with others will come naturally to you.
Key aspects of your role include visiting customers' homes to carry out Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Heat Pump and Electric Vehicle Charging Equipment installations, taking on supervisory oversight as required, and ensuring the team does a great job and provides outstanding service to our customers. You will also be responsible for issuing Certificates of Compliance with all mandatory testing and results.
What we can offer you:
You will be provided with a company van, fully kitted out with everything you need to do your job. A mobile phone, tools of the trade, and a full uniform are provided, including all safety clothing and footwear. We pay for your annual licensing and compliance requirements and courses.
We also offer ongoing support and professional development. In addition, our industry-leading brands like Mitsubishi and Panasonic provide full technical training.
You will join a company with strong ethics and values that genuinely cares about their people and a supportive team environment with a positive and inclusive culture. We like to celebrate success and have some fun. We offer flexibility, with no on-call work or weekend work, so you can have a genuine work/life balance.
We also offer a great range of benefits including:
Employee Assistance Programme (EAP)
Staff discounts on a range of great brands such as Noel Leeming, Bunnings, PlaceMakers, Pita Pit, and more!
